Pricing and costs

We have three starting point packages:

1. Advanced CMS

This packages gives you a complete web site management system that allows you to take complete control over your web site.
The Advanced CMS system allows you to add as many web pages and content as you like with easy-to-use WYSIWYG editing tools.
£58 per month*

2. eCommerce Professional

This package gives you a full online shop with the ability to sell an unlimited number of products through a secure checkout and payment gateway*, plus you get all the benefits of the Advanced CMS system so you can add as many web pages as you like.
£75 per month*

3. eCommerce Enterprise

This package gives you all the above with the added benefits of automated scheduled synchronisation with your back-office applications such as stock control systems and accounting software.
£150 per month*



* Monthly charges are based on the set-up of a complete working web site with everything you need to get started. In some cases you may need extra modules or custom development to achieve your own particular requirements.

Custom design costs

One of the key benefits of the Ocean eCommerce and CMS services is the ability to completely customise almost every aspect to suit your own branding, marketing and way of doing business.

The packages come with a default layout and basic set of starter graphics to get you going. We can also provide PhotoShop templates for the site's skin. This will allow you to cutomise the look and feel of the site to suit your own style.

We can provide a complete design service and create a totally unique web site just for you.

Our design costs are based on £50/hour but generally we prefer to provide a fixed quote so that there are no hidden surprises. All costs are agreed in advance and any changes that may occur to specifications will be discussed and agreed in full.

Programming & Development

Another key benefit of the Ocean eCommerce and CMS services is the ability to add functionality and system capability whenever needed. This means that the web site will grow and adapt with your business and always deliver the services you need to your customers.

As the web itself moves on and evolves in the future, so will your web site. In this way you can be sure that your site never slips 'out-of-date', and whenever you want to re-develop your site to make it fresh and 'New' - you know that you will not have to re-do all the work that went into it in the first place. All the data, products, customer records, orders, images and text content will remain in the database. All we have to do is refresh the design, skin and style sheets.

Our coding and development costs are based on £70/hour but similarly to our design service (above) we prefer to provide a fixed quote so that there are no hidden surprises. All costs are agreed in advance and any changes that may occur to specifications will be discussed and agreed in full.

Add on Modules

These are add-ons that give your site extra functionality. We keep these as separate modules becuae not everyone needs them.
Each module costs an additional £17/month

The following modules are available:

• Automated product stock and pricing updates
• Customer synchronisation with Outlook
• Automated Customer export to office applications
• Automated Order export to office applications

What's NOT included

There are some services we do not usually provide (although we can if required) and so these are not included in the prices quoted above.

• Domain registration
  You can register your domain name anywhere so long as the provider can update the DNS settings to resolve to our web servers IP addresses
  
• Email services (POP3/IMAP)
  Your email will stay the same as it is (if you have email) and we do not get involved in this much
  
• Card Payment Gateway
  Accepting secure card payments is a serious business and we believe this should only be done by the big players in the market who have the full approval of the major bank and card providers.
